About Charles

Charles Watson is an award-winning British photographer and advertising director.

He has shot all over the world for clients such as Nike, Coca-Cola, Nintendo, and MTV, Budweiser, Warner Brothers, and Mazda.

Charles has documented Sandinistas and Contras during the Nicaraguan civil war, Serbian paramilitaries in Belgrade after they kidnapped Slobodan Milošević, underground gamblers in East London, and container ship crews as they journey across the Pacific.

Currently he is working on a commission to document the homeless citizens living within the wealthy communities of Silicon Valley, San Jose and San Francisco, and the organizations, police departments and community leaders helping them gain skills and hope.  

Charles Watson is based between Los Angeles and London.
